it remains the jewel of the South Basse-Terre region.

Its history
Successively managed by the Gourbeyre Town Hall, the Basse-Terre Chamber of Commerce and Industry,
the SMRBT, the Basse-Terre regional mixed syndicate, the CCSBT community
of the communes of southern Basse-Terre, a new private manager is
now the operator of this structure.
Société Sud Ancrage, a simplified joint stock company, manages by delegation
The Rivière-Sens Marina has been operating as a public service since 29 June 2010.

Having obtained all the authorisations required to launch the dredging of the basin and the replacement of the pontoons, bollards and other equipment, following the tender procedures
SAS SUD ANCRAGE carried out the following work to comply with regulatory requirements:
Repositioning the riprap on the marina channel breakwater
Dredging the basin
Demolition and removal of broken concrete pontoons
Supply and installation of new pontoons
Changing mother and daughter chains
Changing buoys
Securing pontoons by installing gates equipped with badges
Refurbishment of public lighting and electrical installations
Plumbing repairs
Car park development
Renovation and extension of the harbour office
After a long period of work following the damage caused by storms Phillipe, Fiona and Tammy in 2022,
